The "Magical Legend" is a fantasy story set in the Ming Dynasty about the thousand-year battle between the Taoists and Devils. For two consecutive battles both happened on Kunlun Mountain, it is also called the Battles at Kunlun. Legend says that during both battles, the Taoists defeated the Devils with the help of Nanji God Emperor and Ziwei God Empress, bringing peace to the Zhongyuan Realm. Our main characters, little emperor Zhu Yunwen and Taoist disciple Leng Shuangning, are the reincarnations of the God Emperor and the Empress. Internal conflict arises in the Taoist Clan and the Devilsplans to take advantage of it, bringing the clans to the brink of the Third Battle at Kunlun. But where this entanglement is heading is unknown as a mysterious power meddles in, endangering the entire Zhongyuan Realm.
